• The CV-03 converter employs a DC/DC switching design that steps-up or down the input voltage (from hydrogenerator or solar panels) and autodetects 12 or 24 volt batteries. 

• The converter takes 3 phase voltage from the hydrogenerator (brushless alternator), and transform it to regulated 14V or 28V with a 96% efficiency.

• The converter is also able to use a wide input voltage range from solar panels of 7V to 50Vdc.

  A MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) algorithm is embedded into the converter to harvest the whole available energy which makes it very efficient both in hydro and solar mode.

   

  According to the available energy, the converter charges the batteries with a 2-step method :

  1- Absorbtion mode at 14.3V or 28.6V 

  2- Floating mode at 13.8V or 27.6V
