Sea Pilot Lifejacket Coat 

The SOS Sea Pilot`s high tech lifejacket is keeping it simple and 'bridging the gap' to improve an affordable coat with built in Lifejacket.  This high-tech lifejacket is integrated into a coat by using a quick-burst zipper resulting with two types of buoyancy.  The life jacket inflates outside the coat making it simple to use by the wearer and being bright orange making more visibility for the rescuer.

The three-quarter length jacket is very comfortable and uses a "two-layer" barrier system within the lining. It has two insulated pockets to keep your hands warm and a neoprene sleeves to stop water running up the sleeve. Which is great for the coastal cruising or offshore racing.

Currently, the Australian offshore racing rules require that Each inflatable PFD Type 1 shall be checked and serviced at the intervals as prescribed by the manufacturer. These intervals are generally annual, and most recommend specific trained service agents. And, while there are also instructions for self checks with many PFDs, many yacht clubs will only accept qualified service agents’ certificates for racing. The important thing to understand is that the trained service agent does much more than visually check the canister, mechanisms, and PFD.
